Combination Tours and Activities in Ethiopia

Day 1: fly to Bahir dar; visit the Blue Nile falls and in the afternoon visit Lake Tana Island Monasteries. O/ n hotel.

Day 2: fly to Gondar and visit the castles compound, Debre Birhan silassie church and Emperor Fasilades bath, Falasha village, Qusquam church. O/ n hotel.

Day 3: fly to Lalibela and full day tour the rock hewn churches. O/ n hotel.

Day 4: fly to Axum; city tour. O/ n hotel.

Day 5: fly back to Addis and city tour. O/ n hotel.

Day 6: Drive Addis to Arbaminch via Grate Rift valley system to see some rift valley lakes, lunch will be held at Shashemene, late in the afternoon arrive at Arbaminch. O/ n hotel.

Day 7: Drive from Arbaminch to Jinka on the way visit the interesting Konso Village, Benna and Teshmay tribes. Then proceed to Jinka, lunch will be held at weyito. O/ n hotel..

Day 8: Make an excursion form Jinka to Mago National park; visit the Mursi people who live behind the Mago National park and in the afternoon visit Jinka museum.O/ n hotel.

Day 9: Drive from Jinka to Turmi, on the way visit Dimeka to see different tribes altogether if the day market. Then proceed to Turmi. O/ n camping/ lodge.

Day 10: Drive to Arbaminch on the way visit the Arbores tribe. O/ n hotel.

Day 11: Drive to Addis Ababa via Sodo to visit the Tiya Stele and Melaka Kunture archeological site; Night departure.>

Day 9: Drive back to Addis Ababa en route see the Blue Nile gorge and the Debre Libanons monastery (13thc). O/N hotel.

Day 10: Drive to Awash National Park for game viewing to see mammals & birds in the park. O/N lodge.

Day 11: Drive from Awash to Semera. Visit the Afar people village. O/N Camping.

Day 12: Drive from Semera to Lake Afdera. O/N Camping.

Day 4: Drive to Gondar; the castle compound, Fasilades bath, Debre Birhan Silassie (Light of Trinity), Qusquam church and Falasha village. O/N hotel.

Day 5: Drive to Siemen mountains national park, for trekking within spectacular views and chance to see the endemic animals of Ethiopia like siemen fox, Chaldea Baboon, walia ibex, lammergeyer, other many birds. O/N camping at Sankaber.

Day 6: Start trekking through a landscape of pasture and thin forest to Geech (3,600m a.s.l) for about 5 hours. En route we will see Jumber fall and you will have lunch on the view point, some animals which are endemic to Ethiopia. O/N camping at Geech.

Day 7: We trek from Geech to Cheneck (about 7 hours) Via Amba Ras with a lovely view to the Gorge of Anbergina. O/N camping at Cheneck.

Day 8: A day trekking from our camp in cheneck to the summit of Buhahit Ras (4,430m. a.s.l) and spend the day exploring the escarpment of Amara Shema with the best chance of seeing the rare and endangered Walia Ibex, a species which endemic to Ethiopia and only are in the Simien Mountains National park. O/N camping at Cheneck.

Day 9: Drive other side of Siemen Mountains to Axum. O/N hotel

Day 10; Tour Axum; visit the steale, St. Mary of Zion, tomb, inscriptions, palaces and Museum. O/N hotel.

Day 11: Drive to Mekelle. O/N hotel.

Day 12: Drive Lalibela crossing spectacular views. O/N hotel.

Day 13: Full day the rock hewn churches of Lalibela. O/N hotel.

Day 14: Drive to Kmbolcha; en route visit Lake Hayik. O/N hotel.

Day 6: The morning walk takes us to Immetgog peak (3900 m.a.s.l) where we have so splendor scenery of the rocky massifs and deep gorges of the Simien Mountains. The afternoon is at rest. O/N camping at Immetgog.

Day 7: Ttrek from Geech to Cheneck (about 7 hours) Via Amba Ras with a lovely view to the Gorge of Anbergina. O/N camping at Cheneck.

Day 8: Drive to Gondar from Cheneck. O/N hotel.

Day 9: Drive from Gondar to Lalibela via DebereTabor to experience the local’s life and the scenery. O/N hotel.

Day 10: Full day visit the 11 rock hewn churches of Lalibela. O/N hotel.
